Wildlife Tracking Telemetry

Wildlife Telemetry, the science of gathering information on the movement and behavior of many animals using animal-borne sensors, or tags. There are many Networks or groups of satellites that are used to track animals. Each satellite in a network picks up electronic signals from a transmitter on an animal. Together, the signals from all satellites determine the precise location of the animal. The satellites also track the animal's path as it moves. Many of our custom antennas below are Motus Wildlife compatible. The Motus Wildlife tracking system is an international collaborative network of researchers that use automated radio telemetry to simultaneously track hundreds of individuals of numerous species of birds, bats and insects.
