When you go to assemble the beam... look at the pictures, figure out where the different pieces go and how they go. I got it together then my genius wife asked what the 8 solid rods were for... I had no idea....they go inside the elements to strengthen them. DUH!! Been a ham 58 yr had many diff commercial and homebuilt beams and I really like this one. I was amazed that the balun came with the beam instead of being an expensive extra. Put together per instructions and SWR 1.2 at 50.125 ill take that. no hrs of messing with element lengths
Got it up sun morning of cq vhf test and it is working everything I hear with 100 watts.
the ant is on a power pole at 45 ft.
look fwd to many yrs of 6 meter fun....if the prop gods would help
cu in the piles
